I prolong the memory of the fish caught by creating works inspired by the technique of Gyotaku, a Japanese art.

I make them with squid ink then I use watercolor and acrylic for the eyes.

I use Kozo (Japanese mulberry) paper.

The fish are generally caught by me and are always eaten, hence the use of perfectly edible ink.
